Ca y est, la reproduction a commencé chez mes glosters, le 1er oeuf a été pondu le 15 avril. Mes oiseaux sont d'une précision exemplaire. Ils vivent dehors toute l'année et quel que soit le temps, ça démarre toujours ... le 15 avril. Trois femelles ont pondu 4 oeufs chacune. On verra. Les autres n'ont pas démarré.

Après une courte période d'acclimatation, voilà que les nids sont faits et que les petits oeufs commencent à tomber!
Voici un petit aperçu des nids, une trentaine de mamans est déjà en couvaison, vingt autres en pleine ponte. Il y a des Norwichs, des Glosters, des Fifes des Borders et des canaris couleur, principalement pour le soutien, mais je m'amuse beaucoup avec des combinaisons pour le moins "excentriques" |slt:|

Encore un groupe de mamans qui commencent à couver leurs oeufs: Pour la Norwich, c'est la même sur toutes les photos - elle est si grande qu'elle tient à peine dans le nid - j'ai l'impression qu'elle pourrait pondre hors du nid! :unsure:

J'ai moi aussi les naissances ont commencé.
J'ai 4 petits panachés (12 ; 11 ; 3 et 2 jours). J'ai 2 petits morts dans l'oeuf et d'autres oeufs chez mes 5 femelles. Mais elles sont bizard cette année car elles vont nourrir les petits qui sont nés, elles couvent lorsque les mères vont manger mais après c'est la bagarre lorsque les mères regagnent leurs nids ?????
